Lessons and Carols Service

Lessons and Carols went wonderfully this year. We were introduced to some new carols which I know will be with me for a long time to come. One of my new favorites was 'Infant Holy, Infant Lowly'. Did you have a favorite?

A big thank you to all those who participated in the service and a warm thank you to Caleb for organizing, picking the carol list, and preparing the musicians. We are very blessed by Caleb's work to bring this historic service so close to home.

If you want to read further, a good starting point for information on The Nine Lessons and Carols service at Kings College in Cambridge, England (pictured) can be found here.

Here's a list of Carols we sang this year:

  • In The Bleak Midwinter
  • Hark The Glad Sound
  • Comfort, Comfort Ye My People
  • Lo, How A Rose E'er Blooming
  • The Angel Gabriel
  • Infant Holy, Infant Lowly
  • Hark! The Herald Angels sing
  • Away In A Manger
  • Silent Night
  • O Come, All Ye Faithful

Ding dong! merrily on high in heav'n the bells are ringing!
